Cowboys+Gauchos

We’re kickin’ up our boots and gearing up for The Wine & Food Foundation’s first-ever Cowboys + Gauchos!  It’s sure to be a rip roarin’ good time showcasing Texas and South American BBQ and wine, so mount your caballo and mosey your way down to famed Salt Lick PAVILION to join us on May 15th at Noon.

We’ll be chowing down on the fare of cowboys and gauchos provided by local favorites La Sombra Bar & Grill, Fogo de Chao, Fleming's Steakhouse, Cafe Josie, Judges' Hill Restaurant & Bar, Pit Master Arturo Ramirez, and Wild Bubba's Wild Game Grill, in addition to the Salt Lick BBQ.  Delysia Chocolatier will also be tantalizing our senses with wine-infused truffles – yum!

But don’t forget the wine! We’ll be serving up whites and reds from Texas and South American producers Fall Creek Vineyards, Duchman Family Winery, Llano Estacado Winery, McPherson Cellars, Stone House Vineyards, Lapostolle, Terrazas de los Andes, Fin del Mundo, and RJ ViƱedos. Austin’s own Thirsty Planet Brewing will be providing ice cold beer as well!

The Spirit of Flamenco performers will be there dancing and clapping a passionate rhythm and The Alvin Crow Band will provide boot scootin’ country tunes throughout the event.  Cowboys + Gauchos is a not-to-be-missed event; can’t wait to see you there!
